Counselling

We are all shaped by the experiences that have got us to where we are today. In our sessions we'll look at how your personal history, family context, cultural context, and previous relational experiences have shaped how you respond to the world and to your relationships today. Once we understand that better you can begin to decide what of that is helping you and what's hindering.

Often couples become stuck in patterns. In couples therapy we will explore the pattern of your relationship and work to change those things that don't serve you so that you can have more intimate and satisfying relationships. My goal is to help you feel supported and empowered as you make those changes for yourself or your relationship that help you to feel better.

I trained in an integrative relational approach that allows me to draw from a range of therapeutic perspectives. my couples work is informed by Relational Life Therapy. My aim is to offer a warm, empathic yet challenging space where you can feel safe to explore and grow.

I love working with a diverse range of clients and welcome enquiries from clients of all ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, religious beliefs and socio-economic circumstances.

How can I help?

People come to counselling with a wide variety of reasons. Perhaps there is an aspect of your life you're seeking to change or perhaps you would like to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment?

Whatever your reason, I am happy to discuss if counselling could be an appropriate form of support.

Please get in touch to discuss your individual requirements or concerns. I would be happy to discuss any further questions you have.
